Hey, Faith Base, I'm standing outside in my backyard. Last night was a windstorm. We have a week ahead of us of strong, powerful storms and it reminded me, you know, the wind is a mysterious and powerful force of nature. It whispers through trees as you'll see it, you know, dances across fields and it stirs our souls with an invisible touch and I wanted to explore that today. I wanted to explore with you the significance of wind and how it can remind us of the presence and power of God in our lives. You know, just as the wind brings and can bring some refreshing coolness on a hot day, you know, God's presence can bring comfort and renewal to our weary souls and when life feels stagnant or overwhelming, we need to remember that the wind of the Holy Spirit is ever-present in our lives, ready to breathe new life into our circumstances and so I want to encourage you, allow the wind to be a great reminder, sometimes gentle, sometimes strong, but let it be a reminder that God is with us, God is guiding us, God is powerful and can overcome, help us overcome any obstacle. The Bible says the wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear it sound, but you can't tell where it comes from or where it's going and so it is with everyone born of the Spirit. That's John chapter 3 in verse 8. Just look around. I wish I could show you all the things blowing. We have pots blowing over, we have chairs blowing over. It's just a reminder that the Holy Spirit moves in our lives with the same unpredictability and sovereignty and just as I cannot control or fully understand the wind that is blowing, I cannot understand or confine nor limit the work of the Holy Spirit in my life and the same is true for you. The same wonder, the same power, the same movement, this Holy Spirit movement that can lead us and guide us as we're on this journey of faith. I pray that that verse from John chapter 3 reminds you that the Holy Spirit of God is not bound by human limitation. He is at work in our lives in ways we cannot comprehend. He is bringing transformation, he is bringing healing, he is bringing renewal and so as you face challenges and joys, trust that the wind of the Holy Spirit will carry you forward and bring you clarity to your path and empower you to live a life that is pleasing to God. Take a moment, go outside today, pause, feel the wind on your face, see it moving through trees and across your lawn to be reminded of the ever-present love and power of God. Allow the wind to stir your spirit, fill you with hope, bring you confidence knowing that that God is working his plans out in your life and just as wind brings change and new beginnings, embrace the change and new beginnings that God is bringing your way knowing that he is always with you, always guiding you and always moving around you. I'm just enjoying being outside today in the vastness and the goodness of our Creator and letting it serve as a constant reminder that we are to seek his presence and trust his guidance and like the wind, be open to those unexpected ways that he moves in our life. Let the wind be a rainbow for you today of God's faithfulness and a call to surrender to his perfect plans. They are working themselves out in your life today. Be great, be encouraged and be blessed.
