Proverbs chapter 19, verse 21 says, many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. And this connects back to what you were saying earlier of the importance of surrendering it back to God. And another thing I thought of too, was the importance of abiding, staying close to God, because we can come to him and say, hey God, here are all my plans and then leave. Like, well, I already told him about it. Now he just needs to get it done. But that's not really having a relationship or conversation. Yeah, you're just viewing God as an ATM. There could be another way where if you are not surrendering, even at every step, you can be easily discouraged, especially when there is a bump on a road. If you're not connected to God, you can see that bump in the road as the end of the road. Like we'll preach, you know, and then you just stop. And whereas God really wanted you to continue on that path. But because you would be so easily discouraged or easily thrown off the path, you just stop. So honestly, if you're listening right now, God has ever put something in your heart and there may have been something that happened in your life. And I don't want to minimize anything that's happened in your life. But it was a bump in the road. Evaluate it. Was it a bump, a hump to go over? Or was it the end of the road? You know, that's where we turn over to God and surrender to him and say, hey, God, where do I go from here?
