what's going on faith-based family I hope you guys are doing well as we get ready for Christmas it is an amazing time actually truthfully my favorite time of the year because it is the time where I get a chance to hang out with family and friends it is a time where I get to cook and eat great food it is a time that we get to celebrate the life of the man and our Savior Jesus Christ it is in this time that we get a chance to just be rest in him as we close out the last part of this series of mind body and spirit I wanted to get a chance to just share with you my thoughts of going into this holiday season which can be stressful sometimes so I start by asking you where is your peace where is your peace is your peace rooted in the things that's going on in the world is your peace rooted in the things that you have to accomplish or what is your peace rooted in the father our loving father in heaven you see for me mine has to be rooted in our father because things in life are forever changing and so as a builder I always depend on the foundation and for me the foundation for my mind my body and my spirit is our Lord and Savior you see things get challenging things get hard they bring tears to our eyes they put us in uncomfortable positions but guess what we can do every time just like my sweater say we can elevate we can elevate our mind we can elevate our body we can elevate our spirit by connecting it to the Creator and so I challenge each of us to be able to find that balance that even space with our mind our body and our spirit you see when our spirit is off we miss out on things when our spirit is off the things that once gave us joy in our peace seems to be still in it away so I challenge everyone today to find where your spirit can rest you see when our spirit is connected to our father there is nothing that we cannot do when our spirit is connected to our father there's no challenge no mountain that we cannot climb so let's go out and make this an incredible season let's make sure that we're taking care of our body let's make sure that we're taking care of our mind make sure that we are plugged in to our rock our foundation our Lord and Savior because this is the season to love this is the season to be thankful it's not about the presence or the fixings that we're going to have for dinner this is about us this is about our relationship with God this is celebrating the life the birth of Jesus Christ so I wish each of you a happy holidays Merry Christmas and I hope that you guys have an amazing start to 2024 whatever that was let it be and whatever that is let it be rooted in God love you guys can't wait to connect look forward to hearing from you soon have a wonderful day
