Happy New Year! We made it y'all. Oh my goodness. I wanted to speak a quick word to you guys just to encourage you guys in your new season, your new year, your new chapter. And a lot of us have prepped differently for this year. A lot of us have experienced different things last year coming into this year. A lot of us have experienced some up-and-downs and all this kind of stuff. Things that we're still processing, but we're excited for the new year. Or maybe we're not excited for the new year. I don't know. But I do know that if you are in the family of Jesus Christ, there's so much hope that we can't even imagine. There's so many times where I've gotten down myself. I'm just like, wait a minute. Because of Jesus and because of the Holy Spirit, I can take authority in this. Because of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I've chosen to walk with the Lord by His grace. He promised to cover me in this way. He promised to lead me through this, these dark times and never leave me or forsake me. He promised victory on the other side. He promised abundant life. Let me do my part. He's going to do His. And it's going to be amazing. And so I just want to encourage you guys and go to Isaiah 43. The thing that's been ringing in my head has been, He's doing a new thing. It's not going to be business as usual. New thing, new thing. I'm changing things up. And when I tell y'all, the last three months of 2023, there were so much transition for me and my husband. Where I was just like, okay God, I know you've been speaking all year that you're gonna switch things up and you're separating things and you're clearing out things. And I was like, this is a lot all at once. But I also do believe that He has to do a lot of that stuff to bring in the new. You know, you can't put new wine skins into, I mean you can't put new wine into old wine skins. It will burst. So He's given us new wine as we've abided in Him, as we've learned from Him, as we've gleaned and done our part of how He was pulling us closer to Him. And we can't put that wine into the old wine skins. He has to clear out a few things so that we can carry it into the new year. Amen. So I just wanted us to go to Isaiah 43 today. And I'm going to skip around a little bit. So starting at verse 1 it says, and this is for God's people. So there's more victory for you if you have chosen Jesus as your Savior. Hang in there. And if you're already thriving, you're going to keep going. So there we go. It says, verse 1. But now thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, fear not for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine. Okay? God is matchless. You know, a lot of times we put Satan and God next to each other like, oh, there's gonna be a tussle. Who's gonna win? Oh no, Satan's been banging on my family's door and ruining things for so many years. But God is matchless. God created him and he failed. Okay? He is powerless against God. So if God says, you are mine, you good. You're good. Okay? Verse 2, when you pass through the waters, God said, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flames scorch you. Now I want to jump down to verse 13. Indeed, before the day was, I am He. This is our Papa God talking, okay? Before the day was, I am He. He is the beginning and the end, right? And there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I work. And who will reverse it? If God said it is done, okay? I'm encouraging people because if I'm experiencing something in the spirit, a lot of times I'll talk to somebody else and they're like, girl, I experienced the same thing. And the enemy was after me after all these promises and different things that God has been speaking to me. The enemy wanted to attack me. And so I'm just like, nope, the Lord said he's going to do a new thing. I'm keeping my eyes on Jesus. I rebuke you, Satan, in the name of Jesus. This is my promise. This is the way, the truth, and the life. You are a liar and a defeated foe. And for any of you that are out there and he's trying to steal from you, the joy that God has been putting into you all last year, getting ready for this year and different things, he has no power. Anyway, so yes, verse 13 again. Indeed, before the day was, I am He. And there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I work. Who will reverse it? Raise your hand. Who's going to reverse the power of God? Raise your hand. Nobody? Nobody in the room? Okay. Okay, we're good. Okay. Verse 18, I'm gonna skip around. 18 through 21 and I'll be done. Do not remember the former things. Some of us are operating in trauma. Oh, man, I've been so disappointed. But I know God's been saying he's going to change things up. And I'm waiting on the promise. And I'm kind of discouraged. Like, I don't want to repeat last year. I don't want to. And we're coming into this place of fear. And he says, Do not remember the former things. I don't care if it was an hour ago, if God promised you something, do not remember the former things of, of old, okay? That promise is the truth. Okay? Nor consider the things of old. Verse 19, behold, I said, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness, a road in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Okay, the beast of the field will honor me the jackals in the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus, to give drink to my people, my chosen. It's not easy walking a Christian life. But this is how Papa God, I call him Papa God. But this is how God covers his people. No matter what's going on. He said, I will give waters in the wilderness. It doesn't matter where you've gone or where you've been. Even if you're thriving, even more waters, wherever you are, he's meeting you there and covering you in rivers in the desert. I to give drink to my people, my chosen, he's got you covered. This people I have formed for myself. They shall declare my praise. So if you're waiting on something, or if you're already in this in a season of just feeling amazing, or even if you're waiting and you're in a season of feeling amazing, that is very possible to he said, they shall declare my praise. I encourage you to praise the Lord. Worship God. Worship him as if it's done. Worship him because he has been good up to this point. Worship him because you made it into another year and you thought you were going to lose your mind five years ago. How did I get five years later? I'm still here. He's covered me. He's never left me nor forsaken me. Worship the Lord and praise him for his goodness. He cannot fail. He's so good. So happy new year. Happy new season. Happy new thing. He said, behold, I would do a new thing. Happy new, new, new, new, new. God is doing some new things. God bless you. I'm so excited for you. I'm so excited for me. I don't care what we can or can't see. God is an invisible God. We can't physically see him. All right, but he works and speaks. And then things come to life. And we have that same power and in different ways, through his through the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we pray in his will. Amen. So God bless you. I love you so much. I hope you go out there and release the zeal you have for Jesus in this new season in this week. In this new year. I'm so excited to see the many things that God has promised come to pass. And not just for my household, our promises are to be a blessing to other people. Our promises are to strengthen us and guide us into his works of the kingdom. So go in his promise. Go in his joy, go in his peace. I love you so much. Hang on to what he's promised you hang on to it. Do not waver to the left or right. And anytime you feel like Oh, no, that may not have that's the enemy. He wants to steal it from you. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus. You have the power through the Holy Spirit living in you. If you've accepted Jesus as your savior to rebuke the lies of that crazy demon. Okay. Victory and love to you. God bless you. Until next time. I love you. Bye
