Well, hey friends, Happy New Year. We stand on the threshold of a new year. Maybe right now you're gathering with friends and family, talking about your hopes and anticipations of what lies ahead, or maybe you're just feasting and watching football. Nonetheless, new beginnings and fresh starts are top of mind today, and I want to think about that, but think about God's abundant blessings encapsulating that for a few moments today because that is the reality for us as people of faith, especially as we step into new seasons, new opportunities, new ways of thinking, all of that very prominent on days like today. And so as you embark on the journey of this new year, I want to encourage you to remember that God is faithful and God is loving, that he delights in blessing you and I as his children. He longs to see us flourish and thrive in every area of our lives, and regardless of what the past year may or may not have held, we fix our gaze on the promises of God and the blessings he has in store for us. There's an incredible verse in Psalm chapter 65 and verse 11. It says this, you crown the year with your bounty and your carts overflow with abundance. Beautiful words and a beautiful verse that reminds us that our heavenly father is the source of all blessing, that he desires to crown this new year with his bounty, filling our lives with his abundance and his overflowing blessings. And so as we align our hearts with his will, and as we seek his guidance, I want to encourage you to confidently expect his goodness to manifest itself in every area of your life. So we step into this new season, this new year, this new opportunity with confidence, and we open our hearts to receive the abundant blessing that God has already prepared for us. I want to encourage you to be filled with gratitude, take the action of gratitude and have it rooted in his faithfulness and trust in his plans for your life, for our lives. Walk in expectation knowing that God's blessing will surpass our wildest dreams and bring us joy, bring us peace, and bring us prosperity. I pray this year is marked by divine favor and divine breakthroughs for you. And of course, answered prayers. May we experience the goodness of God in every aspect of our lives, in our relationships, in our health, in our finances, in our spiritual growth. Face the new year of blessing with confidence, boldness, with open arms, knowing that we serve a God who is infinitely generous and loving. I pray this new year is a blessing to you. Continually seek his presence, not just at the start, but all the way through. Trust in his guidance and remain rooted in his word. And I guarantee you his faithfulness will overflow in our lives. His blessings will overflow in our lives, spilling over into the lives of those around us because at the end of the day, we are vessels of his love. We are vessels of his grace. We are that shining light that Jesus talks about that the world so desperately needs. So embrace today, embrace a new year of blessing, embrace it with joy and expectation because our God is faithful and his blessings are abundant. I'm praying that this is a year of transformation and growth and deepening intimacy for you with our heavenly father. Step into the new year with faith, knowing that you are blessed and that you are highly favored by God. Be great. Be blessed. Have an awesome start to the new year.
