We do a great job of waiting for something.
We don’t often know how to sit in them once they arrive.

Hey, what's going on, everyone? I hope you're doing well. You know, it's kind of this post-Christmas lull. The week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day is always an interesting one, right, because it can kind of leave us in this perspective of what's next. I've been reflecting on this idea of what it means to understand that, like, the Christmas season continues past the day of Jesus's birth, right? It goes up until, technically, the day of Epiphany. And what's, I think, important about that is, like, we are so good at anticipating as a culture, but we don't always do the best with understanding how to continue and celebrate, right? We think that once something comes and passes, we try and get to the next thing. And so I want to encourage you in this season, if you are somebody who is just kind of sitting right now and waiting to figure out how to get to the next thing, what would it look like if you were to take some more intentional time to enjoy what it is that you are walking through in this season, right? Time moves so quickly. How do we make sure that we experience the most of life instead of just moving from event to event? Thanks so much, guys. Have a good day.
