The fruits of the Spirit. We've looked at love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and today we're going to talk about that word faithfulness. And really what that word faithfulness means, it means a characteristics of steadfastness, that we stand our ground. It's interesting, as we look through Scripture, one of the words that's used to characterize God more than almost any other is his faithfulness, that we serve a God that is always faithful, that when he says he's gonna do something, he does it. When he says he's not gonna do something, he doesn't do it. When he's gonna deliver us, he delivers us. When he's going to chastise us or correct us, he does it. Everything God says, he does. He is steadfast, he is faithful, he is consistent. What that means is from our standpoint, he's trustworthy, that we can trust God to do what he says he's going to do when he says he's going to do it. And that's what that word faithfulness means for us as a fruit of the Spirit, that first and foremost, we're to remain faithful to him, to his Word, to what he teaches us, to loving him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And then, we're to be faithful to others. If you're married, we're to be faithful to our spouse, faithful to our kids, faithful to our churches, faithful to our community. We need to have, as believers, as followers of Christ in our community, we need to have a reputation of somebody who is steadfast, who is trustworthy, who, when Jesus says, let your yes be yes and your no be no, that that's our reputation in the community. So, I want to encourage you today, be a person who's steadfast, be a person who is faithful, that when you say you're gonna do something, you do it, so your community can look up to you and can trust you to be a person of your Word, and ultimately, we represent Christ in that. Listen, God bless. Have a great day. I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas. If I can help and serve you in any way, man, give me a call. Let me know. God bless. Have a great day.
