Hey folks we are on the downward descent of this stewardship series. I appreciate those of you who have walked with me in this. If you have specific application areas that you want to see this talked about just shoot me a message. We're gonna talk about as much as I can think of and kind of apply everything that we've talked about. Today is our last day where we're looking at big picture stuff. Ephesians 4. Paul has a lot to say here but how he starts this chapter is he says, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you've received. Now this is a general call for every Christian but also specifically. He says, this is the way you do it. Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. So friends, we as we steward ought to all apply these things to our stewardship. Humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another. This is how we do it. So you can take every application section of Paul's letters and the whole New Testament and just straight apply that to your life and say, this is how I ought to steward the gifts and operate as a steward of the King. He says, we've been given certain gifts to the church so that we all might be built up in the knowledge of God and unity in the faith towards maturity. But here's the thing, verse 15 is where I want to stay. Instead, all of you, you, me, every person in the church, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body that he wants us to be. From him, from Christ, the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work. When you do your part and I do my part, it ought to lead us to unity in the body of Christ, in your church, in the church at large. It ought to lead us together and that's your part to play and that's my part to play. And this is done in part by speaking truth in love. I hate speaking truth. I do not like it, but this is the way that we grow. This is the way that we grow together and this is how we reach unity and maturity in Christ and this is part of our goal, right, as stewards is to to see the church grow, to see the church be built up to be a full picture of who Christ is. Friends, as you go to prayer, I want you to consider your part to play in the body of Christ. What skills, unique abilities that you have, whether that's relational, whether it's hands-on tools and skills, whether it's trades or things you've picked up along the way, that you can offer to the body of Christ that might bless it and help it grow together. And then friends, I want you to consider, where do you speak truth in love? I want you to sit with these things. God, I just pray that you would bless them as they sit with you and consider all that we've talked about. Amen.
