Joy is not a season. Joy is not situational. Joy is a deep spiritual connection found only in and with our Creator God. Take a moment and think with me about the “season of joy” and how we can live in it every day.

Well, hey, Faith Base, hope you're having an awesome day. I wanted to share with you part one of a three-part video series on Christmas as we make our way toward Christmas Day. You know, it is a season of joy and celebration. And as we commemorate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, it's a time when we gather with loved ones. It's a time when we exchange gifts. It's a time when we express gratitude for the blessings that are in our lives. And I wanted to take a moment over three videos and reflect on that. Today, reflecting on the true joy that Christmas brings and how it can uplift our hearts. You know, the joy of Christmas is not found, and I know you know this, but it needs to be stated nonetheless. The joy of Christmas is not found in the material things, and it's not found in temporary happiness that tends to be part of the season. It is a deep and abiding joy that comes from knowing that God in His infinite love sent His Son to save us from our sins. This joy is available to all of us year round, not just during a holiday season. And as we celebrate Christmas, we remember, we need to remember, I wanna encourage you to remember that our joy is found in our relationship with Jesus and our joy is found in the hope that He brings. The Bible says, behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. That's Luke chapter two, verses 10 through 11. And so as we celebrate Christmas, as we make our way over the next few days toward Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, may the joy of the Lord fill your hearts and may the joy of the Lord overflow into the lives of those around you. May we share the good news of Jesus's birth and the hope that He offers. And remember, the joy of Christmas is not limited to a season. It is a joy that can sustain us throughout the year. And so may the joy of Christmas bring to you on this day, peace and love and hope to your life today, to your life today, to your life over the next few days and to your life always. Be great, be blessed, be filled with joy. We'll see you next time.
