Happy holidays everyone. My name is Tonya Lee Carey with Faith Base and founder of God's Freedom Fighters International and I have a short quick but prolific word for you. It's all about prayer and I want to share quickly from the chapter of Luke 18 dealing with the persistent widow who went to a judge and wanted justice. Now this judge didn't fear God, didn't fear man, and he just he just I call it he was just smelling himself you know he just thought of himself as God himself and that's what the little g but this woman she was determined and it's a parable to not give up and it's a parable that deals with prayer seeking God, pursuing the Lord, being persistent, being tenacious. Now this judge is unjust but we serve, I serve a God that's just. The bottom line is this, what the Lord wants is just a personal relationship with the great I am, Emmanuel, the one who opened doors that no one can close, a miracle worker. So we just have to continue to pray, we just have to continue to believe, we have to continue to trust God and I don't care what it feels like, I don't care what it looks like, we gotta stand and know that God is working it out for our good. Why? Because we are learning and trusting him to love him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Bam! That's the persistent woman. That's the woman who deals with the unjust God and we deal with the just God and we call him Jesus. So enjoy your holidays on purpose, make it special by doing something even special for somebody else. That's how the Lord works. God so loved the world he gave, he gave us his best. I love you and there's nothing you can do about it. Until next time, peace!
