Hey faith-based friends and family blessings to you today I have a confession for you today but first random question maybe if you're close to my generation did you ever have the experience where you reached your hand into your pants pocket and you were surprised to feel something and you pulled it out and it was a $5 bill or $10 bill or even a $20 bill it's like such a great feeling right and maybe maybe you're younger and you're used to paperless world for the most part but when I was younger five dollars ten dollars is worth a lot more and we use cash so remember that feeling like whoa this is awesome I can't believe this is in my pocket what a fun surprise well I tell you that because last week I had like the opposite the exact opposite feeling metaphorically I reached into my pocket and I was expecting it to be in empty but it was filled with yuckies here's what I mean a friend of mine are talking and a friend mentioned someone else's name who's someone I've had relationship with but it it kind of got messy at one point and I continued to to guard my heart not let me have any seeds of dissension and bitterness and anyways I I thought I had gotten rid of all that I thought there was no resentment I thought that my heart was pure and I thought my pocket was empty I had repented of what I needed repented of I'd forgiven what needed to be forgiven and somehow magically when I reached my hand into my pocket metaphorically there were yucky things like why was I like feeling gross things when this person's name was mentioned this is an honorable person and we did part ways but we parted ways on great terms but I realized that even though I had repented and I had forgiven I needed to keep on forgiving and it's like the Lord was just lovingly reminding me again Adam your spiritual transformation is more important than your comfort and so it's like some feeling like discouraged with myself that this was in there still even though I'd released it so many times I picked it up again without even knowing it was lovingly telling me hey this is an opportunity for more spiritual transformation and again disappointed that it was in my heart I did contact him and we're gonna get together and I'm just gonna apologize for any little seed that and this has been like over 10 years I didn't even know the seed was there I thought it uprooted it all but somehow it popped up again don't don't think highly of me for meeting with me with him if anything you think highly if I didn't have any that in my heart but I just encourage you to do what you need to do to guard your heart to keep on forgiving even when they don't ask for forgiveness to keep on pardoning to keep on loving above all else guard your heart some blessings to you today would you reach into your pocket and find wonderful things and when you find the yuckies just give it to the Lord no that doesn't disqualify you from giving hope and joy and love keep doing that but make sure that we're intentional to deal with those yuckies have a great day
