Faithbase

Eli here from Faith Base. I just wanted to show you guys something that I found walking outside here. You see this huge trunk of a tree? That is a huge trunk. Like I could only imagine how deep the roots go as well. I mean look at the size of this thing. You're probably thinking right off the bat, man that tree must be huge. It must be massive. But then as I start showing up, you realize the branches on these things are actually very very tiny. In fact you can clearly see that it's been cut off and damaged probably from some type of storm. And you see all these other trees behind me, though their trunk is not as big, it's not as large, and their leaves are just almost the same. And I'm thinking like man, there must have been a huge storm for that tree to come off in such a way. But for some reason the trunk is still here. I'm pretty sure the roots, they're deep and they're strong and it's still down there. And it reminded me of how strong we need to be in the presence of God. And you're probably thinking like, these storms in my life, they're hard. Everything that I'm going through is so heavy. Well let me remind you that you have the God of all creation. You have God Almighty powerful. You have God who cares for you, that you need to be rooted in. And He's gonna fight for you. Whatever you're dealing with this week, He's gonna care for you. He's gonna protect you. He's gonna provide for you. And it may not always look like exactly how we expect it to be. Like I'm pretty sure somebody's thinking like, man I didn't expect for the the branches of this tree to be so tiny. But if you can see it again, it's actually starting to regrowth. It's starting to to grow again. Because it has a strong foundation. So if you've gone through life that it has been so rough and you feel like, man I'm down and out for the count. I want you to let you know that God hasn't abandoned you. He hasn't forgotten about you. That you, as long as you are trusting in Him. Watching my stuff here because it's pretty wet. You trusting in Him and believing in Him. It's all in Him. That's why our faith needs, it matters on who we trust and who we believe in. Rather where it really originate, where our faith is really originating from. A lot of us have small faith. A lot of us have big faith. Well it doesn't matter because it only matters in who you are putting that faith in. So where's your foundation right now, this week? As you're tackling through all your things with family, for school, for work, where's your trust? Is it all the way up in the air where the storms can easily blow away? Or is your faith trusted and rooted in God? Strong, mighty and all-powerful. Have a great week and I pray that this message encourages you.
