Hey friends, standing outside just looking at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. Those are our Christmas lights right there. We do red and white and I was just kind of listening to the wind blow and looking at the lights and I was thinking about a phrase that I heard earlier today and that phrase is old keys can't open new doors. And I thought that was so good. It's just been rolling around in my mind and my spirit and I wanted to share that with you because oftentimes our old patterns keep us from experiencing new blessings and new opportunities. However, I believe that God calls us to embrace change to oftentimes step out in faith and trust him so that he can lead us to new and exciting seasons of life. And so I wanted to just take a moment and encourage you with that and let you know that embracing change. I get it. I understand it can be challenging and it can be uncomfortable, but it opens doors. It opens doors to growth, to transformation. It opens doors to divine possibilities and it is natural sometimes to cling to what's familiar because it provides a sense of security and stability. We know that we get that. However, when we hold on to old keys, we limit our potential and we confine ourselves to the past. You know, God desires us to take, God desires to take us on a journey of discovery where we can experience him new, his abundant blessings, his purpose that he has for us. You know, the Bible says, behold, I am doing a new thing and now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. That's Isaiah chapter 43 and verse 19. God is the master of new beginnings and maybe you need one right now in a season that you're in. But we know that God is constantly at work creating new paths in the midst of our wilderness and he's transforming deserts into rivers of abundance and when we trust in him and let go of our old keys, he opens new doors that we never thought possible. That verse reminds us that God's plans for us are not limited by our past experiences. They are not limited by our circumstances, but God is always doing something new and something extraordinary in our lives. So as I'm sitting out here in the lights and you're doing whatever it is that you're doing, reflect on that word tonight, meditate on it a little bit. This idea that old keys can't unlock new doors. Be willing, and I'm preaching to myself here, be willing to let go of the familiar and embrace the unknown, knowing that God is with us every step of the way. And may we all have the courage to release our grip on the past and trust in God's faithfulness to lead us to a future that is filled with hope and purpose and abundant blessings. Remember with God, all things are possible and that is good news from the gospel for you and I today. He is always ready to unlock new doors of opportunity and growth in our life. Believe it, know it, be confident in it, and I hope that blesses you tonight. Be great. We'll talk to you later.
