So not only were these shepherds obedient and got to experience what God called them to do, I want us to look and see what they did afterwards. Because in verses 16 through 19, they're obedient, they go, they find Jesus. It says they honor Jesus and Mary, honors these things in her heart, why these shepherds would show up and tell this story. But then that experience is over. But look at what they do in verse 20. The shepherds went back glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen just has been told to them. Again, I want to read this again because this is their reaction to Jesus. This is their reaction to meeting Jesus. The shepherd went back glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen. There really is one reaction that all of us should have when we truly come to meet Jesus and that's praise, that's worship, that's what he deserves for what he did coming into the world, for living a sinless life, for being our high priest, for going to the cross and being our sacrifice for our sin. All that leads to one simple reaction from us, the same reaction that the shepherds had, that we go about our life glorifying and praising Jesus for who he is. And what a great example these shepherds set for us. They had no idea who we are, they had no idea where we were going to live and that we were going to be studying them 2,000 years later. They simply, one, were obedient and two, because they had an interaction with Jesus, it led to a place of praise and worship. And I want to encourage you today, let your interaction, let your meeting Jesus lead you to a place of worship. Let it lead you to a place, again as verse 20 says, to a place of glorifying and praising God for all that he's done in your life. So if you have a rough day, if you have a rough moment today, take some time, take a moment and just begin to praise him for who he is and what he's done in your life. And if I can help you in any way, if I can serve you in any way, shoot me a message, let me know. God bless, have a great day.
