In Galatians chapter 5, the third fruit of the Spirit is peace. Love, joy, and peace. And that word peace is very specific because what it means is the ability of the individual to stay calm and focused in the midst of a war. That there's a war raging all around us, even sometimes within us, and we have the ability through the power of the Holy Spirit to be able to stay calm, to be able to stay focused, to be able to stay gospel-centric in our lives. Now there's there's an old phrase that sometimes God chooses to calm us in the midst of the storm instead of calming the storm. And a lot of times we'll pray God calm the storm around us. If it's a storm of relationships, finances, health issues, job issues, I mean there's all kind of things we deal with in life. And a lot of times we pray that God will calm the storm around us. But sometimes God chooses in his sovereign wisdom to leave us in the midst of the storm and calm us while we walk through it. And I can tell you that is such a testimony to the world because the world, specifically the world, just means our community. It means our friends, family, people that know us, people we work with. That's our world. The people that see us on a daily basis. And when they see us stay calm, when they see us stay focused, when they see us be gospel-centric, when they see us be people of peace, when there's war all around us, they're gonna ask why. Because here's the thing that should help us have patience for everybody else is they're also going through wars. We can't see in people's lives what they're going through, but they're going through it. So our ability to be people of peace through the power of the Holy Spirit in the midst of the storms and the war is a great example of the power of the Holy Spirit and what Jesus has done in our lives. So I want to encourage you today, stay peaceful, stay calm, stay focused. Think about the gospel. What can you do to spread the influence of the gospel today by loving somebody else? Listen, God bless. Have a great day. If there's anything I can do for you, please shoot me a message. Let me know.
