Hey everyone, I'm back. My name is Tonya Lee Carey and I'm with Faith Base and also I'm the founder of a nonprofit, God's Freedom Fighters International. And today the subject is, It's a Wonderful Life. It is a classic. It is one of my favorite all-time Christmas movies. I've already seen it once. And George, who many people who have seen the movie know all about George and how he thought about his life and he didn't want to be where he was. I want to first just share in Jeremiah 1 verse 5 that God knew us before we was formed, conceived in our mother's womb. He knew that. He knew us before we was a thought. God has plans for us before we was even thought of. That's how blessed, wonderful you and I are to the great I am. That's number one. The wonderful life and why I chose that is because so many of us, and I say us, because many of us don't want to be where we are. Oh, I'm happy where I'm at right now. I've been so many different places and I am content. I don't see myself being where I'm at for the rest of my life, but this is my sanctuary. But he did not want to live where he lived and he was tired of pitching nickels and dimes and I get it. But I'm gonna share a short testimony. Truly, I believe divorce is flat-out a curse. And here I'm speaking in front of thousands, speaking and dramatizing the Word of God, and next thing you know, within a month or so, I am like homeless. Not on the street. I know a lot of people and I've done a lot of ministry. But had my stuff in storage, staying with this person three months, this person three months, and I was stunned. After putting in about 15 to 20 years into the Word of God and the Lord, it was like, this is not happening. But what I stay stuck on is that I, the love of God. I knew he loved me. I knew he had a better plan for me. I know he loves you. I know he has a better plan for you. And I had the nerve to give out of my lack. Not money. It was other things I gave. I gave hope. I gave encouragement. It took the eyes off of me and focus on other people. And that is why God came here on planet Earth in a form of a baby for us to experience what we go through and to be able to feel what we are have gone through or is going through. Your life, by faith, is wonderful. Take you away your children wouldn't be here. Your grandchildren wouldn't be here. And I can go on and on and on. And this is just a word of encouragement is that your life is not your own. Give it to the Lord. He has a better plan for you. I know it because I couldn't even conceive of being where I'm at and where I'm thinking he's taking me. Praise the Lord. That's the word for today. You do have a wonderful life.
