Well, hey, friends, hope you're doing well. As an example of how faith lives everywhere, I wanted to share something with you. Right there, you can see it in the background, I just filled up with gas. And as I was filling up the tank, I thought, man, this is a mundane task, but there are some valuable, no pun intended, lessons that we can learn from this simple activity. So I thought I would just pull over, take a second with the gas pump in the background, and share maybe a little spiritual significance that we can find here in this task. So we live out our faith, it's a journey of faith, it's an adventure of faith, and oftentimes we can, if we're not careful, we can find ourselves running on empty, feeling drained and exhausted. Just as we rely on gas and fuel for our vehicles, we need spiritual fuel to sustain us. It's essential, and it's essential to recognize we can't keep going without replenishing our souls. And so filling up the tank with gas is not only a practical necessity, right? But it's a reminder, it's a reminder to us to refuel spiritually. It's a time to pause and reflect and recharge our hearts and our minds and our spirits, embracing this intentional action of allowing us to be refreshed so that we can not only tackle the challenges and opportunities that come our way, but we can be Christ in this world in the way that he called us to. In Matthew 11 and verse 28, Jesus says, come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Just as we seek rest for our bodies and fuel for our cars, Jesus invites us to come to him for rest and spiritual nourishment, because he is the ultimate source of strength, and he's the ultimate source of peace, always ready to refill our tanks. So as you go about your day, as you go through the week, remember the significance of filling up your gas tank, right? Let it serve as a reminder to regularly seek spiritual renewal, to come to Jesus and find that rest for your soul, to embrace a moment with the Savior so that we might be filled up so that we can pour that out into this world. And not only that, it deepens our relationship with God as we allow him to replenish our souls. So be encouraged and prioritize your spiritual well-being because it is essential to experiencing the abundant blessings that come from God.
