Well, hey friends, it is Monday, December 4th. It's the first Monday of December, and I thought it would be good to take a minute and just think and reflect on the beautiful and miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are in the season. Many of you probably at your churches kicked off a worship series focused on that. And so I thought I'd do the same thing here and just take a minute and let's think about the extraordinary and extravagant love that God has bestowed upon us so that we can center our hearts and our minds on Jesus today, this week, and through the entire month. So as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, I think it's important that we are reminded of the immense joy and hope that He brings into our lives. The birth of Jesus was a divine intervention, a remarkable act of God's love for humanity. And it serves as a powerful reminder that God is with us, always, no matter what challenge or struggle we might face or we're going through, we can always find comfort and courage in knowing that God's love, God's grace, God's power is greater than anything we encounter. You know, the Bible says in Luke chapter 2, verses 10 and 11, these are words that are spoken by the angel to the shepherds, and it's there that we hear this, do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today, in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord. You know, that verse encapsulates the essence of the birth of Jesus, the good news, this great joy, this ultimate gift of salvation, and it reminds us that Jesus came into the world to bring light and love and eternal hope. So as you go through the day, as you go through the week, as you go through this holiday season month, carry with you the message of the birth of Jesus in your heart. May we be encouraged to embrace the love, the joy, and the hope that he offers. May we be reminded that his presence is in our lives, through the good and the bad, through the ups and the downs, he is always with us. And just as the birth of Jesus brought hope to the world, may you and I be agents of hope and agents of love to those around us. May this Christmas season fill our hearts with gratitude, and may we continue to live in the assurance of God's unfailing love. I hope that encourages you in your spirit today. I hope that brings some empowerment to your life. I think it is absolutely important that we remember that God is with us, God is for us, and God is among us. His abundance is here. Be great, be blessed, be encouraged by that today. We'll see you next time.
