Well, hey, Faith Base, hey, friends, hope you're having an awesome day. I wanted to take a minute and just think with you about this topic and idea of friendship. You know, it's a precious gift that does come from God, and in a world where relationships are essential, friendship stands out as one of those beacons of love and support and understanding. So whether we've known our friends for a lifetime, or maybe it's a recently new connection that we have forged, friendship enriches our lives in countless ways. It's raining right now, I'll scoot it back this way. You know, as we go, as we go, no point in stopping, right? This is, we're all friends here, right? You know, as we go through life, we all need companions. People who will walk alongside us, offering us a shoulder to lean on, words of encouragement. We're not unique in that Jesus himself needed friends, true friends, who were there to be with him, to celebrate with him, our joys, our sorrows, our, you know, uplift our spirits when we find ourselves, you know, moving in a downward trend. Friends are there to help us be our best selves and help us to grow in ways that we never thought possible. At least that's the ideal of friendship. So when life presents challenges, it's our friends who have the ability to remind us of our strengths and encourage us to persevere and provide support when we need it. It's our friends who offer a listening ear when we need to pour out our hearts, or maybe a gentle nudge in the right direction, or un-gentle, when we are unsure of our path or we need to make a correction. You know, through their unwavering presence, our friends are those who remind us that we're never alone. In Scripture, we find wisdom and we find guidance on the beauty and the significance of friendship in Proverbs chapter 17, in verse 17. It reminds us of the invaluable nature of a true friend. The Bible says this, a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. Those words echo the essence of friendship, a bond that is supposed to transcend circumstances remaining steadfast in love and in their support. And so, take a minute and reflect on that. Reflect on your sphere of influence and your sphere of friendship. Let us cherish and nurture the relationships that we've been blessed with, as well as be intentional in being that kind of friend ourselves. A friend who faithfully extends love and kindness and understanding and support to the people around us. I want to remind you that in cultivating and cherishing friendships, we're not only enriching our own lives, but we are becoming vessels of God's love in the lives of other people. And so, may our friendships be a testament to God's goodness, that they reflect His love and His grace in a world that is broken, and for people who find themselves going through brokenness. So, be grateful for the friends that we have. Be grateful to become the friend that you are to others, and may, in all circumstances, our friendship be a source of joy and strength and inspiration, pointing us all toward a life that glorifies God. Embrace the blessing that comes in friendship. Embrace the blessing of being a friend to others. And I believe, if we could get that right, this world would be a much better place. It would be a little bit of heaven that has come to earth, just like Jesus taught us. Be great. Be blessed. We'll see you next time.
