Okay. So just a thought for today that kind of piggybacks the thoughts that we shared yesterday on our thought life. I'm doing a study of Ephesians 1 right now or all of Ephesians but Ephesians 1 17 through 23. I was looking at a commentary in the Blue Letter Bible by David Guzik and I have no idea who this other guy is. I'm about to quote him but his name is Alfred. I'll have to do some research to figure out who he is. But basically he says thinking about our thought life, thinking about how we come to know. It's not about coming to know ourselves. That's not going to be that's not the most helpful. The most helpful is actually going to be coming to know God. If you are a child of God, the greatest philosophy is to understand he who created you. So this quote says too many Christian hearts have no eyes which is understanding and too many Christian eyes have no heart. Heart is defined as the core. The intelligence has its post of observation. Its stores of experience are laid up and thoughts have their foundation. The thoughts about ourselves, our situation, the people in the world around us, all of that comes, those thoughts aren't just there. They are but they come from the heart where we store up knowledge, experience, and observation. So where are you getting that knowledge from to lay your foundation of thought?
