Now the last part of Matthew chapter 6 verse 13 is really interesting where it's where Jesus says for your is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever Amen Now some versions if you're reading through maybe like a King James or one of those it may not have that in there Some do have it in there and we could get into the weeds of how the Bible was translated from Greek into English and Spanish in these different languages and Some use the oldest text some use the the bulk of all the text that we found and It one is just as good as the other we that's a good discussion to have later about how we got An English Bible and that's one of this real simply and quickly the reason that some have Some verses and some don't it just depends on what text they translated from and what they're translating Philosophy was The New American Standard has it because I like that they have it because it kind of ends the Lord's Prayer It begins with praise and it ends with praise yours is the kingdom yours is the power yours is the glory everything is about your Kingdom and whether you have one that's a version that has that verse in or not That's really not the point The point is right now that when we pray we need to start with praise and we need to end with praise It's okay to talk about your daily needs your daily bread. It's okay to talk about those things I mean, I want to encourage you in your prayer time start with praise Start with lifting Jesus up for who he is for what he's done. His grace is mercy the purpose He's given us the forgiveness He's got all the things that he's given us in our lives and not giving us the things that we do deserve Start with praising him for that and end with praise Because what that does that helps set our minds right of what prayer needs to be and for the day That we've set our time that day in Praise of who our God is and what he's done in our life So I want to encourage you in your prayer time that begin with praise end with praise make it all about the glory and honor of Jesus and What you can do to spread that around your world in your community today Again, God bless if I can do anything for you shoot me a message.
