Hey, Faith Base, hope you're having an awesome day. I wanted to jump on here. I had a thought I wanted to share with you. My son is currently helping some folks haul off brush and clear out some land. And it reminded me that working hard and serving others is an important thing. And in a world that often encourages self-interest, I think it's essential to remember the value of dedicating ourselves to diligent work and selfless service. So I thought maybe we could just take a moment this afternoon and be inspired, see what God's word has to say about that as we seek to live a life of purpose and impact. As we go through life, we encounter certain and various challenges and obstacles that are going to test at times our determination and our dedication, right? However, I think it's essential during these times to realize that this is when our character is shaped and our potential can truly be realized. Remember, hard work not only brings forth success, but it builds resilience. It builds perseverance. It leads us down a path of personal growth. And so the road may be tough at times, but never lose sight of the fact and the impact that your efforts can have on others, because with every task, whether big or small, it can contribute to the betterment of someone's life. By serving others, we can create a ripple effect of kindness and compassion that spreads far beyond our immediate reach. And so I was thinking about that and I thought, well, what does the Bible have to say about that, right? Whether it's clearing brush or helping somebody in need, whatever the case may be, what does the Bible have to say about that? And the Apostle Paul in the book of Colossians chapter three verses 23 and 24 says this, whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. I think that's a powerful verse that reminds us that our work and our service should not be driven solely by external recognitions or personal gains, right? But rather by a genuine desire to honor and serve the Lord. And when we approach our tasks with love, with dedication, with a selfless heart, I truly believe we find fulfillment and purpose in those tasks. We find fulfillment and purpose in the knowledge of knowing that we are serving a higher calling. And so as you think about that, I wanna encourage you to meditate on that, share that word with somebody. Certainly we can take that understanding to our work, to our church, to our neighborhoods, to our schools, so that we can make a positive impact for Christ on the world around us. Be motivated to work diligently, not just for our growth, but for the betterment of others. Be inspired, whether it's through the example of Jesus or the words of Paul. Be inspired to serve others with love and compassion. Make a difference in their lives. Make a difference in the life of everyone that you encounter. And remember that when you embrace hard work, when you embrace selfless service, we not only enrich the lives of others, but somehow we find some joy in our own journey. I hope that word finds you well today. I hope it encourages you. Hope it gives you some strength and purpose, maybe some inspiration to know that the work you do matters.
