Thanksgiving

Well, hey, Faith Base, I wanted to take a moment in advance of Thanksgiving and just share a thought, maybe an attitude of gratitude, but specifically talking about gratitude in abundance. Really thinking through how do we remain grounded and thankful when we are blessed more than we ever could imagine? You know, oftentimes we talk about gratitude in the tough times, gratitude in the struggles. What about gratitude in success? You know, when we find ourselves blessed with abundance, it is easy to forget to be grateful and we must always remember that every good thing, every good thing is a gift from God. Psalm 136 in verse 1 says, give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love endures forever. That is a great verse that reminds us of the constant nature of God's love and the importance of expressing gratitude. So I want to encourage you today, just be grateful, have a spirit of gratitude, understanding that our blessings are not simply a result of our actions, but rather they are gifts from God. And in recognizing that, I believe we find a deeper sense of gratitude in our hearts. And so in advance of Thanksgiving and next week where gratitude and thankfulness just flow freely, I wanted to remind you that gratitude is not a season, nor is it a day. It is an attitude of disciples of Jesus Christ that we should embrace every day. And I believe it is our superpower that unlocks the supernatural for us and to us in our lives today. Be great, be blessed, and I hope you're encouraged by that today.
