We are jumping into a new series today, and I'm excited because we're gonna be talking about faith And we're gonna be looking at the life of Abraham and what it means for us in understanding what faith is Faith is this word that we use so broadly and all the time it's probably so much so that we become a little bit numb to what it actually means and What it looks like for us to have faith in our lives every day What does the Bible actually say about what faith is? Let's walk together Redefine this a little bit I Want to we're gonna look at the Old Testament, of course the life of Abraham we're gonna look at the New Testament and what the New Testament writers have to say about the life of Abraham and what it means for our faith and Yeah, I hope you enjoy it I want to two more things here I want you to think about Who do you trust in Who do you trust to come through for you? How is that expressed that trust? How does it show up? How do you see it? Okay, and what are maybe some things that you trust in? You might not think of trusting in things Very often but you expect things to function a particular way and when you operate them and they do their your faith is or trust is Activated and you get to see it come through. So I want you to think about that. Who do you trust in? And maybe what are things that you also trust in? each day Last thing I want to look at Psalm. I want to leave you with Psalm 105 It mentions Abraham and I want you to just sit with it meditate on it Listen to it. Yes sing his praises Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds Exalt in his holy name Rejoice you who worship the Lord Search for the Lord and for his strength continually seek him Remember the wonders he has performed Remember the wonders he has performed His miracles and the rulings he has given You children of his servant Abraham you descendants of Jacob his chosen ones There's a lot to really sit with there God bless you today friends.
