Good afternoon, or good morning, or could be good evening. It's certainly a pleasure to have you here with us today. And today is going to be a relatively brief summary that we normally like to give when we're opening up the devotion. You will find that today's written devotion is relatively short, but short doesn't mean it's not of substance and it doesn't mean it's not of quality. But it does mean that you'll be able to hit it and quit it a lot easier than normal. It's entitled, Failure, Consistency, and Faith, Your Comeback Story Ingredients. Failure, Consistency, and Faith, Your Comeback Story Ingredients. And the scripture from the NIV version is going to be one that you're familiar with. It says, I can do all things through him who gives me strength. I can do all things through him who gives me strength. And you will find that here we're saying unto you, embrace failure as the beginning of your comeback story. You might have heard me say that once or twice before. Embrace failure as your comeback story. Through consistency, growth, trust, unity, and faith, we shape our destiny. And you will find that that is going to be highlighted in today's thought. And so one of the things that we want to encourage you to do, if we were to look at this from a step-by-step perspective, is step one, stay consistency. Consistency is the key to success. Commit to your goals and persevere through adversity. Let your actions align with your vision. You want to hear that again. Let your action align with your vision. Step two, learn from failures. Let it be a turning point that is educational and revelatory in nature for you. So not only are you going through it and it's a challenge, but it's a growing period for you to be able to learn, to gain new insight, new wisdom, and allow yourself to uncover and discover the very treasures that lie deep within the reality of what you're going through. Remember, always keep in mind, it's not what you're going through, it's what you're going to. And God is always taking you from one place to another. When you're a servant of God, when you've been bought with a price and it's been paid on Calvary and you committed your life to him, understanding the ABCs of life, A, admit that you're a sinner, B, believe in the name of Jesus Christ, and C, confess your sins. The sins of both omission and commissioning, you've given your life to him. Your life is no more your own. And so he's always leading and guiding you and taking you from one level to another level so that you can experience growth, new insight, new awareness, and be able to be an effective servant for God and experience the victory that he has already designed for your life. Keep in mind that you're not working out of his divine will, in his permissive will, you're working in his divine will. And so because of that, trust in divine timing, that's step three, trust in divine timing. Step four, seek comeback opportunities. Look for those opportunities. Remember, setbacks are changes and it is a change that you have to go through. But I like to say setbacks are changes, yes, but it is also chances for triumph. Setback are chances for triumph. So bounce back stronger, adapt, and seize the opportunities within challenges, knowing that you are in a developmental phase within the Lord so that you can have life and have it more abundantly. Step five, harness unity's power. You know, when you are united, you're able to rise above the obstacles, support, uplift, and collaborate. Together, we create a remarkable comeback story when we kind of work synergistically and holistically and completely within ourselves to say that we're going to take all that we're going through as a point for revelation, a point of understanding. You know, sometimes you got to pause for the cause and ask yourself, Lord, what are you saying to me right now? What did you want me to obtain, maintain, and retain in the midst of this that I'm going through so that I can have life more abundantly? Remember, failures don't define you. Consistency, resiliency, and faith shapes your destiny. Embrace your comeback story with trust in divine guidance. Unite for success, empowerment, and inspiration. And remember, God's not finished blessing you.
