Hey Faith-Based Family, blessings to you today. Just a quick reminder, something that you probably already know. First Timothy chapter 1, Paul writes Timothy, who he calls his spiritual son. Just a sweet, affectionate, loving relationship. And he's encouraging Timothy to attack, not attack, but to address and press into these people who are teaching false doctrine. There's a really high value for truth, for true doctrine, and he's telling them not to let them teach what they're teaching. But then he says this in verse 5, he says, the goal of the command, this should grab our attention. The goal of the command is this, is love, which comes from a pure heart, a sincere faith, and a clean conscience. And it's encouraging us, whether we're pressing into conflict, let's not shy away from conflict. Let's remember the goal is love, it comes from a pure heart, a sincere faith, and a clean conscience. And a clean conscience is a really sweet gift. I don't know if you've ever experienced a guilty conscience, but as we go about our days, we go about our interactions with people, or get to's, or to-do lists, or planning, or whatever it might be, let's just remember the goal. It's love. It's love that is a foundation of Jesus, and it comes from a pure heart, sincere faith. So faith, knowing the truth of who Jesus is, and a clean conscience, let's do what we sense the Lord stirring in our hearts to do. Blessings to you today.
