Good morning and happy Monday, if you happen to be watching this on Monday. I was thinking this morning, my family and I, we were driving home from church yesterday and we had this really cool moment. Our son was in the backseat and he had his Sunday school coloring that he had done and he had a highlighter of my wife's. He's in the backseat, you know, drawing and writing and he told us that he was writing a message and he's four, you know, he can do a few letters. He can't quite write yet, so we knew him writing a message. He wasn't really writing something out, but he was, right? He's writing this message and so he continues on. He said, he says, I'm writing a message to myself. And we said, okay, yeah, what does the message say? And he says, the message says, do not be afraid when you go to sleep because you are with somebody. And it was such a cool moment for me as a dad, you know, it really just melted my heart of knowing, okay, he's learning. He's learning what it's like to trust in Jesus because when we go to put him at bed at night, there's times where he says, you know, I'm scared, I'm scared, and we say, hey, you don't need to be afraid. Jesus is with you. And it was just this awesome moment where we could see he did it completely on his own initiative, right? He's just doing it on his own and he's taking this moment to remind himself and write a message to himself to encourage himself, to remain faithful and understanding that we don't need to be afraid because Jesus is with us. And I wanted to encourage you with that today as you head into your week, you know, maybe there's some things that you're facing that are causing some fear or some concern. Believe and trust and know that Jesus is with you. He's for you. He's on your side. So nothing can come against you. And if you need to write that message out to yourself to remind yourself daily, do it. Put it on a sticky note, your phone background, whatever the case may be. Let's remind ourselves that we don't need to be afraid because we are with somebody. Jesus is with you and for you. So I pray you have a blessed week in Jesus name.
