Never intended for there to be a part 3 on this topic, but Proverbs 3:9-10 got me thinking. Take a listen and think through attitudes of gratitude with me!

Well, hey, Faith Base, it turns out I'm still not done thinking through giving. I wanted to take a moment in this part three just to think about gratitude and the power that that attitude has to change our lives in the realm of giving. You know, if we give with a grateful heart, the Bible says it brings joy and blessings to both the giver and to the receiver. And in the book of Proverbs, it says, honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops. And then if you do that, your barns will be filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine. That's Proverbs chapter three, verses nine and 10. When we give out of gratitude, we honor God and we acknowledge to God and to the world his provision in our lives. Our acts of giving become an expression of thanksgiving. You know, the Bible also says, give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His love endures forever. Proverbs chronicle 16 in verse 34. And so as I just wrap this up, I guess it's the season that has me thinking through, you know, giving and just this time, I want to encourage you to cultivate an attitude of gratitude in our giving. When we give with a grateful heart, we acknowledge God's goodness and we experience his love in a very deep way. And so be mindful of that. I encourage you, be mindful of the blessings that we have received from God and give generously, knowing that God's love endures forever. May our giving be an expression of gratitude and an act of worship to a God who has been and always will be faithful to us. I hope that blesses you and encourage you today. Be great and we'll see you next time.
