Well, hey, Faith Base, hope you're having a blessed day. Wanted to take a moment and just think with you about the joy of giving. You know, giving isn't just about material possessions. It's also about our time, our love, our resources, all of those things we can give and bless others with. And I thought today would be a good time, maybe this season is a good time, to be reminded of the joy that is brought into our life as we bless the lives of others. When we give with a joyful heart, caveat there, right? We align ourselves with God's nature. Proverbs 11 in verse 25 says, a generous person will prosper. Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. God blesses us abundantly when we have a generous spirit and we freely give to others. And we need to remember, just as it says in Acts 20 in verse 35, it is more blessed to give than it is to receive. The Bible also tells us that each of us should give what we have decided in our hearts, not reluctantly, or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. That's Paul's writing in 2 Corinthians 9 in verse 7. As you think about that today, or maybe as you think about that through the course of this week, I encourage you to reflect on the joy that comes from giving. Because when we give with a cheerful heart, we experience the joy of making a difference in someone's life. So strive to be generous, strive to be a person who is willing to give, knowing that God blesses those who bless others. I pray that your hearts will be filled with joy. And I pray that we embrace a lifestyle of giving, not just in this season, but every day, as we live out our discipleship in Jesus Christ. Be great and be blessed.
