We all know we should pray, but how? Well, let's let Jesus Himself show us how!

Scripture tells us as believers there's one thing that we're supposed to do more than anything else, and we are commanded to do it in both the Old Testament and New Testament more than anything. It's not go to church, it's not sing, it's not to give money, and it's not to share the gospel. Now granted, we are told in Scripture to do all those things, but the one thing Scripture tells us to do before we do all those other things is pray. We are commanded in Scripture to pray more than anything else as believers, and prayer is a lot like exercise and eating right for most people. We know we need to do better, we know we need to do more of it, but sometimes we just don't know how, and that's why I'm excited for us. We're gonna begin our daily devotions over the next few weeks looking at the Lord's Prayer. If we ask that how do we pray, we know that we should, we know that it's something that should be a part of our lives, that if we're gonna share the gospel, if we're gonna love our neighbor, if we're gonna represent Jesus in the world, we need to be in communication with the one that can empower us to do that, and I talk about it all the time from this pulpit right here to our people, that if we want to be the best follower of Christ we can be, we constantly have to play stay plugged into the source that can do that, and prayer is that for us. So I want to encourage you to get your Bibles, we're gonna start going through the Lord's Prayer, because one of the best ways to learn how to do that is to let Jesus teach us how to do that. So I'm excited about us going through the Lord's Prayer, letting Jesus guide us through that most important relationship that we have with Him through prayer. So God bless, have a great day. If there's anything I can do for you, shoot me a message, let me know.
