Hey friends, we have come to the end of our first Corinthians 13. What is love a journey and in a moment of brilliance and I would say inspiration by the Holy Spirit he Ends it the way he starts it At the beginning of first Corinthians 13. He said Love is the most excellent way and by it we See meaning in all other spiritual practices and gifts and things in the life with Jesus And at the end he ties everything together. He says in this life that we live We call it looking in the mirror dimly we only see in part but we will in eternity know in full and see face to face The message puts it this way for right now Until that completeness we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation trust steadily in God hope unswervingly and Love extravagantly and the best of the three is love He says in this season of living from birth until death We have these incredible things to hold on to faith and a God who is incredible and faithful to us hope in the eternal and what's next that he is who he says he is and The call the challenge to love extravagantly and to receive that kind of love The question is Where is love as a priority in our lives, where is it as a priority in your life? I've been challenged in this series. I won. I haven't said the word love so much in in ever but to I've been I've been pushed challenged to Elevate the importance of love in my own life the way that I love my wife the way that I love my kids The way that I love my my church family and my neighbors This is important It's critical We've learned that love is Essential to our walk with Jesus that love is definable and this is not the only place Paul does all over his letters First John is an incredible Picture of what true love is and actually we're gonna take this love Idea and Translate it straight into our next series about what it means to put love into action. We'll get there But love is tangible This is one thing that Paul hits on it is in the present present tense all the time And it is an active verb. We are Doing love or we're we're getting it getting it backwards. We're getting it wrong.
