Hey faith-based friends and family blessings to you today I just want to remind you of a truth that I hope you already know and That is that the Lord is always working things for our good We know this from Romans 8, but he's redeeming and working when we're completely unaware of it I just encouraged by this I was reading in Romans 15 and 16 at the end of Romans 15 Paul and Barnabas like two of the greatest church leaders in History have this argument and they don't reconcile their differences at all, which is just so sad they part ways Set really heavy with me and I processed it a lot But the Lord still redeemed it because see Barnabas took his cousin John Mark and started a missionary team and Paul picked Silas So so Lord doubled his missionary teams as sad as it was But he redeemed it for good and then I'm reading on in chapter 16 of Acts And it says that Paul goes to Lystra and Derby. Well, it struck me Lystra is the city where if you might remember from reading earlier in Acts where Paul was stoned And he was beaten so badly by these stones that they assumed he was dead They had every reason to believe logically. It makes sense. He was dead. He took such a beating and He went back to Lystra, which seems pretty crazy to me I mean, I have a hard time going back to a restaurant with a bad experience, right? You have these bad connotations you went back to Lystra and the Lord redeemed it in such a beautiful way because the Lord gave him Timothy a Spiritual son a true son in the faith is how Paul calls it. I thought what a sweet gift What a beautiful redemption from the suffering to being given a son and if you have a son, you know, a son is a beautiful and precious gift a great gift and I say that to say the Lord is working. I have just been encouraged to see This pattern of his redemptive hand even when I'm not even paying attention to it Completely oblivious. He's redeeming for good and he's working even when we don't realize it So maybe you're in the hard season right now, and you're just ready for the season to be over and I would just say But the Lord just give you mercies and peace in the midst of it But being in the midst of it in the waiting is still valuable there's a forming that happens and it's Man, it's uncomfortable, but it's it's necessary for development and growth The Lord just give you a comfort and direction But also as you're passing through the season just know the Lord's with you and he's redeeming which is just beautiful and encouraging So we go about our days. So blessings to you the Lord's with you and for you. Have a wonderful day
