Hello Saints and Defenders of the Faith. I once mentioned about an individual who had written many books and is one who I follow and greatly respect. I start to think why that he, in some situations, in some topics or on some topics, he goes astray and begins to follow the world as opposed to following scripture. I understand now a little better why he does that. He believes that science, that a lot of research from man, is true. And because he believes it is true, he tries to fit it into the Word of God. But there is often times where man's research is wrong. And if we try to refit what is wrong into the Word of God, we become wrong. We should start from God's Word first and then try to understand whatever the topic may be. We should never start from man's Word and then try to understand the scripture or try to interpret scripture. One example of this is, you know that carbon dating is something that is used to decide how old something is. But it has been researched the effect or the accuracy of carbon dating. And carbon dating is not all that accurate with everything. It has been proven by research as people have researched carbon dating. That is one issue about man's research, thinking that they were right but are wrong. There are other issues by people who believe that evolution is correct. They've tried to fit evolution in with what the Word of God says. And they say that it's okay that we have evolved from some primordial soup. That is wrong. Evolution is wrong. We haven't evolved from anything. God created man the way man is today. Stay strong, saints, and continue to defend the faith.
