What's going on, everyone? I hope you're having a great day so far. I just wanted to stop by, you know, I was reading this morning the idea of Psalm 1, and what was interesting to me about that passage is I've spent a lot of time reading it and studying it, both in ministry and just kind of in personal study, and what I've kind of discovered that has changed for me over the years, the value of what it means to be a tree planted by a river, right, has kind of always had some indication around making good decisions about, like, where you plant your life and how you root yourself and things like that. But the other thing that's been kind of sticking out to me recently is kind of the pace at which a life of a tree moves, right? Trees develop these root systems and these networks over very long times, and it had me thinking about the value of what it means to slow down in my own life and be more intentional about walking slowly, taking more charted steps, and being intentional about making sure that I'm filling my time with the Lord. So I hope that encourages you to slow down today, maybe consider taking some extra time in prayer and meditation and seeing where that gets you and how that connects you with the Lord.
