Hello again and welcome. We are elated to have you here with us as we are going to talk about a subject matter that's near and dear to my soul. One that is designed to bring about growth, development, strength and encouragement, motivation and revelation and to give you that ability to say I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Today's thought or as some would commonly refer to it, Dr. J's thought, today's devotional is entitled struggling with the brokenness of failure. Struggling with the brokenness of failure. And we know it is a struggle when we have been hurt, when we've been broken, when we are feeling confused, when we're feeling abused and misused. When we're operating in doubt and going without that which gives us the comfort and the joy that allows for that inner peace. It's a struggle. But I would like to talk with you about that today and some ways that you might embrace some steps that can enable you to step up to higher heights and deeper depths when you're going through those times such as that. And so for our time together today is to motivate you and encourage you in such a way that you will go and read today's Dr. J's thoughts. And so it's available for you in its entirety. And I'm giving you a cursory review at best. And so Romans 8 and 28 and we know that all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. You know, in the midst of failure, it is not what you know, but what you do consistently that shapes your destiny and your future success. So it's about making up your mind that no matter what you're going through, you're not going to focus on just what you're going through. You're focusing on what you're going to with an understanding that when you are stumbling and when you have fallen and when you are in the midst of that turmoil or operating in doubt and feeling that that ambiguity that makes you feel like you can't do it. That what is really taking place is you are being put to a test that's going to allow you to realize that you are going to grow in a way that you have never grown before. How many of you know that most growth doesn't come from our mountaintop experiences? It comes when we're in the valley. And when you're experiencing that kind of struggle that leads to brokenness, that creates that inner feeling of failure, you are really in a valley. And I want to encourage that in the midst of the valley, remember that you are in the valley for a reason. And you got to understand that you have to be purposeful about taking the necessary steps that when you're in the valley, that it is not a time to have a pity party. It's a time to have a Holy Ghost party where you can allow the Holy Ghost that's within you to bear witness in such a way that you say, I'm not going to allow this to cause me frustration. I'm not going to allow this to cause me doubt. But what I'm going to allow this to do is be a turning point, a pivotal reality where it's going to create a shifting in such a way that wherever I was and whatever I've gone through, regardless of what it is, I'm realizing that God is using this as a way for education and revelation and for stepping stones so that I can step up to higher heights and deeper depths. And so on my growth journey, I would like to share with you, I've been embracing a reality that failure is not an end, but a beginning of a comeback story. That's right. That's right. It's not an end, but a beginning of a comeback story, your comeback story, my combat story. When we do experience that kind of stumbling block, that might be a failure of some type. Realize that that's not the end of the story. That's chapter one. Period. Now let's start chapter two and show what you're working with. And I know you're working with more than enough because God said that you are his child and he has empowered you with the ability to see not just with your natural eyes, but with your spiritual eyes. The fact that you are listening to me right now says that you are a person of integrity who trust in God with all your heart and that you are more than capable of leaning on not just your understanding, but his understanding for the direction so that you can have life and have it more abundantly. You know, it is through perseverance and unwavering determination that we rise above our setbacks and pave the way for remarkable comebacks. In those these challenging times in the United States, we have a captivating comeback story waiting to be told to the glory of God in due season. Just be determined. Be persistent. Remember, persistency leads to your destiny. Don't give up. Don't quit. With faith as your guide, we trust God will enable you to make it all the way. Now, remember, step one that you're going to hear is embrace the power of consistency. Step two, lean and grow from failure. Step three, trust in divine timing. Step five, harness the power of unity and remember that you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. And guess what? Today, also remember that failure do not define you. It is your unwavering consistency, resiliency, and trust in divine timing that shapes your destiny. You know, every time I hear that bell when I'm talking with you, it lets me know. Sound off. Jesus is on board. What's his name? J-E-S-U-S. Jesus. And when you're going through that time, that struggle, remember, call on Jesus.
