When I am back, my name is Tonya Lee Carey, and I'm doing this a day earlier, which is God's timing and not my own. My life is not my own. And I just like to open up with a quote that's from the book of the art of war. Victorious warriors win first, then they go to war. And I'm going to use the scripture from the book of James from whence come wars and fighting among us. And that war is on the inside. And if we don't deal with that internal war, it will be reflective on the outside. Lord, I pray that I decrease, we decrease, and you increase, and you have your way this day. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Ungoverned feelings with the truth can get us in trouble. Feelings can be our enemy during times of war. Let me illustrate. When our minds go through a state of confusion, a state of confusion, we cannot fight the pain. We can't run from ourselves. We wish to explore the rest of the world, but it's like we're being held down by a ball in a chain. That's what it feels like. Ungoverned by the truth, feelings, feelings can be our enemy during times of war. I mean, we used to soar in the air, many of us, and float in the open sky. But now it feels like we're just sitting here watching the world go by. It's ungoverned by the truth, our feelings. Feelings can be our enemy during times of war. And it's in the middle. It's in the middle where most of us are living. There's victory there. We either ascending or we are descending. Nobody stays at the top forever. It's to teach us something about ourselves and our character. But most of us are in the middle. We are living in the middle. Whatever it is, we may be going through hardship. We may be suffering in some type of form. We may be dealing with issues of our loved one. We are in the middle and victory is right there with us. The one who's already paid the price is right there with us in the middle. If we can just govern our lives and our feelings with the truth, submit our feelings with the truth in compassion, the love that we receive every day unconditionally through God's mercy, the grace which is sufficient that we don't deserve that he gives to us every day. We can just open up our eyes and recognize that he is giving it to us. Then it's easier to give to someone else. If not, our feelings can be our enemy during times of war. We can just pray for someone we just hate or we despise and we need answered prayers. God is watching us. He's right with us right where we are at and there's victory right in the middle. Victorious warriors win first then they go to war. I love you guys. Thank you for staying with me. God bless us all. Peace.
