Hey, I'm Ryan Lovingood, former University of Tennessee football player. Have you ever had a time in your life where you thought plans were gonna go the way you thought they would? Well, I have. I had a great five-year career at the University of Tennessee playing in dozens and dozens of football games. With my eyes set on one thing, the NFL. And the problem is, though, it was my plan. And I was putting God into what I thought my plan for my life was, and then I was acknowledging him, but the issue was, it was mine. All me. My very last football game was our bowl game as a fifth-year senior. Fourth quarter, a routine extra point. My right guard fell into my knee, tore my MCL, ACL, and PCL. That was a career-ending injury for me. I learned quickly the next few weeks is that after the last turnoff of the football stadium and after you're done, the phone texts, the calls, they all stop ending. And then you're stuck with who you are as a person. I learned quickly right there that I was trying to force my life and put God into my plan and not focus on him. I learned a quick lesson right there that's going to change my life directly is, God, what do you have for me? Not, what do I have for you, God?
