Faithbase

Hi everyone, I'm back. My name is Tonya Lee Carey and this will be just a little short segment in regards to the continuation of healing and being restored through grief. As I shared before, I lost my son April 2022 which rocked my world. I had no idea that it will literally change me, wake me up even more to the reality, to the preciousness of life. Now I will say I was very very sensitive, just sensitive the whole year especially and still continually at times to be sensitive. Many people who have not ever lost a child have no clue. They don't, I don't believe they on purpose mean to try to hurt you or hurt us but just the littlest things, things seem to magnify. The first three months I didn't watch any TV, any television. I love certain programs that make me laugh but it was very very challenging. I listened a whole lot. I was very quiet in the Word of God even more. It teaches you how to go deeper. If you really have that relationship or like to have that relationship with the Lord, it will take you deeper and you'll be able to sense even more of His goodness, even more of the beauties that many of us that's so busy cannot hear or can pay attention to. But it really changed me for the better. I believe it helped prepare me to be right now and in your presence right now and I'm forever thankful to a good good God and to think, to say how good He is and the person of my whole world is in a better place but it showed me I must continue to move on. We got to continue to press it forward and reach towards the mark of the high calling and just know that you know that you're not alone, that you're not forgotten, that God has a better plan. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours from Isaiah 55 and thank God they are and just don't give up on your life. Your life have purpose as long as you have breath in your body you're not just here to exist and to know that God loves you. He loves you like no other and know that you know that you know. It may feel like you by yourself but I'm a witness. I'm a living testimony that what he started he's the one that finishes. Truly he's the author and the finisher of our faith and so we are in this together one step at a time one moment at a time and the moments soak them up. They're every day and in those precious moments that's where the great I am is. So until next time I love you and there's nothing you can do about it. Peace. Stay strong. Amen. God bless you.
