Hey faith-based family and friends, blessings to you today. I just have a question to start off. The question is, do you struggle with any type of spirit of rejection? No judgment at all, just a question. I was in my mid to late 30s when I realized that I had been carrying in my heart like frustration, resentment, and bitterness toward my high school soccer coach. I've been carrying this in my heart for over 20 years probably. My coach had no idea it even existed, wasn't affecting him. He wasn't bothered or grieved by it, but I had carried this spirit of rejection over some words he'd spoken to me once or twice. And I say that to say, when we have this kind of posture of heart and these things in our heart, I think we literally look for things that might feel like rejection, might possibly be rejection. But I want to remind us that we're not defined by failures. We're not defined by rejections. We're defined by something so beautiful and so great. It's the love of Jesus. It's the completed work of Jesus on the cross and his resurrection, his perfect life. I say that to say that we're defined by something that's even better than our successes. We could never earn a status. So beautiful. And I just encourage you that the Lord wants you to walk in freedom. And I say that as someone who's struggled at times with, oh, frustration, with rejection, caring, maybe rehearsing these hurts in my head and my mind, and I've given them power and authority. But 2 Corinthians 3, 17, it says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's freedom. Isn't that beautiful? We know that if you profess Christ as your Savior, then you have the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1 and Romans 8 tell us this. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's freedom. Galatians 5, it says it's for freedom that you've been set free. So I invite you just to process how much freedom do you have in your heart and your mind? Isn't it beautiful that the Lord wants you to walk in freedom? I think about my kids, and I want them to have a good work ethic, of course, but I just want them to have freedom and joy that's just rooted in the truths of Jesus. I'm not looking for them to put so much pressure on themselves that their lives are miserable. I want them to enjoy the gift of freedom. So I just bless you with Lord, increase your awareness of His love for you, of His Spirit, that you might walk and live in greater measures of freedom, and you might be infectious giving this freedom away wherever you come in contact with people. So blessings to you. Know that you're defined by something so beautiful. Your failures don't define you. Your mistakes don't define you. Your rejections don't define you, but you're defined by the blood of Jesus. It's far more powerful and far more beautiful than we could ever imagine. Blessings to you today.
