Hey faith-based family blessings to you today. I just wanted to share an encouraging word from john 16 Jesus is talking to his disciples and he says something so strange. Maybe you're like me There's some teachings where i'm like i'm not sure what in the world this means but jesus says to his disciples It is to your advantage That I leave you that I go He says it is to your benefit is for your good as niv and esv says to your advantage And you know the disciples are thinking how in the world could it be to our advantage for you to leave But the truth is it's to our advantage that he left because he promises the holy spirit And I say that to say the holy spirit is real I spent much of my christian life thinking the trinity was god the father god the son god the holy bible And I love the word of god the authority it offers the inspiration But the trinity is the father son the holy spirit And I invite you to pursue the holy spirit listen to his voice he's with you he's for you he's working He is working all things for our good, but it must be The holy spirit must be pretty amazing for it to be to our advantage for jesus to leave We want to make sure we don't neglect the holy spirit Obviously, let's find out what grieves the holy spirit and avoid that Let's find out what pleases the holy spirit and do that.
