Hey faith-based family, blessings to you today. Hope you're well. My question for you today is, what's forming you? In some ways, our hearts and minds are like a big play-doh ball. We're being formed by what's around us, by our thoughts, by our circumstances, but really what we believe. And so my question for you is, what's forming you today? We have something called the tyranny of the urgent, where the things that feel most urgent take priority, instead of priorities taking priority. Paul makes this really bold statement in Galatians 4. He says that he longs, as if he's in the pains of childbirth, to see Christ formed in us. In the ESV it says that he's in anguish of soul. Anguish, as if you were in the childbirth process. He so longs to see Christ formed in us. Now, I love and respect Paul, but I'm not sure that any guy has the right to say they feel as if they're in the pains of childbirth. We just don't understand. But we see how important it was to Paul that we be formed more and more into the image of Christ. And so I ask you, what's forming you? What's your plan? But I also encourage you to be a part of the process of helping form others, pointing them to the Lord. And this means asking hard questions. And I know that we want to avoid the awkward and the uncomfortable ride of pressing into hard things. But if you process, what's the consequence of no one asking those hard questions? What's the consequence of not pressing into the uncomfortable? And it's worth it. It's difficult, but it's worth it. Because it's in our best interest to conform more to the image of Christ. To be formed more like Him. To be transformed. Renew our minds. So I say that as an encouragement for us to be mindful of what's forming us, but also to be mindful to form others for the sake of Christ. It's in our best interest to have a clean conscience, as we conform more like Christ. To grow in our testimony and our kingdom authority. Even just primarily to step into intimacy with the Savior. So blessings to you. I pray that what's forming you is this overwhelming love of God the Father for the grace of Jesus Christ and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. And I pray the Lord uses you to form others. Blessings to you today.
