Hey faith-based family, blessings to you today. I hope this message finds you well. Today I'd really just like to issue just one question, and my question for you is, what is your plan? And that might feel like a generalization, a sweepingly wide question, but I ask you, what is your plan? I was processing Luke chapter 9 today. It's this chapter where Jesus has the Mount of Transfiguration experience, so he's in the presence of Elijah and Moses, and God the Father speaks audibly. He comes, he does ministry, casts out an evil spirit, and then it says this in Luke 9 and verse 51, it says that Jesus set out resolutely for Jerusalem. Now again, this is just chapter 9 of Luke. Luke's our longest gospel, has 24 chapters, so Luke has a lot left, but what it tells us is that Jesus knew what his plan was. He was going directly to Jerusalem, directly meaning he knew that was his goal, and nothing was gonna deter him. He was faithful to steward all the opportunities that came to him, the interactions, the opportunities to heal, opportunities to speak truth in life, to show mercy and tender and kindness. My prayer is that we're faithful to steward, well, whatever the Lord puts in our path. But we would just ask ourselves, what is our plan? What is our plan to grow spiritually? What is our plan to grow emotionally? What is our plan to care for our families? What is our plan to advance the kingdom? What's our plan just to seek the Lord in terms of spiritual disciplines? So my encouragement for you is just, what is your plan? I don't know if you're like me, but I get busy, and I get into my rhythms and routines, and I like rhythms and routines. They feel familiar. I like making lists. I love checking things off my list. But my question for you is really a question for myself, is what is your plan just to make sure that we're growing in our love and our awe for the Lord, but also that we're faithfully stewarding what he's entrusted to us. We have a plan for sharing the gospel. We have a plan for our spiritual growth. We have a plan for investing in others, a plan for renewing our minds. We're keeping the main things the main things. So as you make your plan, would the Holy Spirit give you wisdom and clarity, and would it feel like a loving invitation, not a you better, but with rather an arms open wide, a hug to be received. So blessings to you today. May the Lord encourage you.
