In conclusion, love, as defined in 1 Corinthians 13, endures through every circumstance, much like Christ's unwavering love for us. We should strive to cultivate enduring, Christ-like love in our own lives.

Good morning. We've come to the end of thinking about love in this morning, devotional thinking about the Bible, and what we see at the very end of what Paul says in this section of 1 Corinthians 13 is that love endures through every circumstance. It always perseveres. Kind of a little bit like what we've talked about earlier back in the first part of this verse 7, that love never gives up. But here the perseverance, every circumstance kind of embraces all things that you might go through that would dampen your love for those that are closest to you, those that are distant from you, whether it be a relationship or even geographically. So love endures through every circumstance. And I do want to say this about this entire section, that Paul really has encapsulated the character of Jesus Christ, which we're supposed to emulate. Paul tells the church in Corinth to imitate him as he imitates Jesus Christ. And so our goal when we think about love is to grow in Christlikeness. That's of course the goal any time we think about the Bible. But to think about love as the Bible defines it, we want to think about what Jesus is like and how his love endured through and endures through every circumstance. Again, when we look at our own lives, the things that we do, the things that I do that displease the Lord Jesus Christ, and yet his love endures, his love perseveres regardless of my behaviors, regardless of the circumstance of the world around me, love perseveres. It endures through every circumstance. Likewise, we should as well. No matter how difficult it might be, no matter how many pressures we have on us, financial, relationship, health, I've mentioned these before, no matter what is coming up against us, we need to allow our love or we need to cultivate love that endures, that is strong, that is Christlike in every aspect. So think about that today, think about how you can strengthen your love to give it that enduring quality. The truth is we strengthen love simply by practicing love as we show Christlike love towards those around us, doing what most benefits the other person, even at great cost to ourselves. We'll be starting tomorrow, actually, we'll be starting a new series in this thinking about the Bible. We'll be thinking about the Ten Commandments and thinking about how they apply to us today and how we can actually, in a real sense, express love to our Lord and Savior by obeying Him in that fashion. So we'll be talking about the Ten Commandments, we'll be talking about that, thinking about that. But today, thinking about the Bible, we are thinking about what the Bible says about love, and as we conclude this series, we realize that love endures through every circumstance. So I pray that you'll be walking with the Lord Jesus Christ today, thinking about love. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
