Hello, Faith-Based Family! Hope you're doing well today. Blessings to you. I just wanted to encourage you in one thing today. I want to encourage you in what you're looking for. I remember today as my family had moved to Costa Rica, I told my kids, Hey, look, there's mango trees. As soon as I said that, we saw mango trees everywhere. Once we started looking for them, we noticed them. Same was true of these little teeny benches on the side of the road that were their bus stops. I would tell my kids that's where the kids would catch the bus, and all of a sudden, my kids see them everywhere. So I encourage you, look for what the Lord is up to. I know if you start looking for things to be grateful for, our list just grows so quickly. Also, when I look for things to be frustrated about, unfortunately, that list can grow quickly. So I encourage you, look for what the Lord is up to. Know that He is not predictable in what He does. He's predictable in that He's loving and kind and tender. He's merciful. He's full of grace and power, but He's unpredictable in His ways. This is evident all throughout Scripture, whether that's bread falling from the sky, water coming from a rock, parting a giant sea, turning a staff into a snake, or even fire falling from heaven, whether that's Elijah, birds feeding Elijah food, or even New Testament, whether that's Jesus spitting in the dirt to make mud, or walking on water, multiplying food and bread. He's unpredictable, but He's so good and so kind, and we can rest in that. But I say He's unpredictable because I want to encourage us to heighten our attentiveness to see what's the Lord up to. Where is He working? Where is He moving? What's He doing? I live so much of my Christian life as if the Trinity were God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Bible. But the Trinity is actually far more beautiful than that. I have such a high value for Scripture, but it's the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So what's the Lord doing around you? Look for ways that He's working and moving and speaking. Obviously, study your Word to make sure it is the Lord working and moving. It represents His character, His will, and His heart. But I just want to invite you just to be mindful of what you're attentive of and give Him praise. Thank Him for speaking and moving and working, even in the little things. Blessings to you today.
