Hey folks, I got a quick minute here sitting in the car waiting for my kids to get off the bus and just thinking about this series we're going through the Lord's Prayer and you know I believe that as pastors we always have to be leading from from our vulnerability and from our weakness and so I'm just gonna share with you this year was really put this to the test for me I early this year had some promises made to me by by some folks and had some people go behind my back the promises were broken people were bless you son in the back seat and and it was tough and it's still tough I feel like they I was misled and I was I was hurt I was angry and it still catches me probably once a week I run through the the tape in my head of the things that were said and what I might say to someone if I saw them one of those people and this as I every time it hits me two things come to mind one Peter saying to Jesus hey do I forgive people seven times no Jesus says 77 times and I real I got a practice that 77 times every time the the tape rolls in my head of the hurts that were that were happening and I gotta forgive I gotta come back it doesn't make me feel better necessarily doesn't mean it's easy that doesn't mean that I I don't have some sort of right it's not understandable it it's understandable that I would be angry and upset and that's okay and in the midst of that Jesus invites us to forgive so this is real to all of us I'm sure it's real to you let it sink in let it let it dig and spend some time with this peace
