Hey folks hope you find yourself doing well. Today we're talking about Jesus's prayer, the Lord's Prayer as many of us know it, where he says this really interesting phrase that I've always found a little presumptive. He says forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us and I always find myself thinking like do I do I forgive those who sin against me that's I mean the prayer is basically saying I'm doing this so Lord please forgive me. There's I think a strong presumption that I should be doing that right. You know I love that Jesus's invitation to prayer invites us to look deeper into our own heart and our life and you know part of faith-based is keeping this real my son is crying on the baby monitor I'm gonna go get him and we're back we're rolling with it this is my little guy Darren say hey buddy forgiveness are we doing it are we looking at our own life enough to really consider am I forgiving the people around me my co-workers spouses boyfriends girlfriends parents it's a hard one kids I don't know because we want to receive forgiveness God's always open-handed with with forgiveness but he invites us into a two-way street go deeper dig deeper look inside consider who do you need to forgive today
