I am transitioning into a new season in my life - thankfully one that God's has clearly called me to. We fear transitions but praying to Him can alleviate your worries.

You know, I found myself these past couple of days in some kind of, some kind of strife and turmoil, and I couldn't put my finger on it, I couldn't figure out why. I thought it was my situation, I thought it was my circumstances as my kid, and you know, all that, you know, circumstances of my dad, but it wasn't it. So I prayed and I figured it out. God has taken me somewhere that I was not ready to go, or at least I thought that I wasn't. You know, I had my whole life planned out, I was going to be a firefighter, I was going to go to paramedic school, I had a hookup at the Woodlands, I had it all figured out and God tapped me on the shoulder one day and said, guess what, what do you want to do with your life? You want to do what you're doing? You want to continue to be the same person that you've always been, not affecting anything? Or do you want to change? Do you want to grow? Do you want to be the man that I've created you to be? Do you want to affect this world? Do you want to create change, or do you want to continue to be the same person that you've always been, continuously doing the same things that you've always done? What do you want to do? So I prayed and I chose his path and he brought me somewhere where I thought I'd be forever. I thought, this is it, this is what you have planned for me, this is what you have for me, this is what, this is where I'm supposed to be, and now it's changing. Now it's going somewhere that I thought I'd never go. I don't understand where it's going and I figured out, I'm scared. You know, a lot of things don't scare me, but I'm scared. Not of where I'm going, not of the obstacles of getting there, but I'm scared if I can actually do it. So I came to the Word of God because this is where, this is where all the answers come from. I don't care what question in life you have, the answer is here, you just got to find it. Maybe you're there, maybe God has brought you somewhere that you thought was going to be, this is it, this is where I'm supposed to be, then he takes you a whole new 360 and next thing you know you're going in a whole new direction and you don't know what's going on. You don't know what's going on, you don't know why it's going there, and maybe you're afraid, maybe you're afraid of change, maybe you're afraid that you can't do it. The Bible told me something today, and I read it and it changed me, and I want to share that with you, so bear with me, it's Ecclesiastes 3, and this is what it says, for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven, a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to harvest, a time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to tear down, and a time to build up, a time to cry, and a time to laugh, a time to grieve, and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones, and a time to gather stones, a time to embrace, and a time to turn away, a time to search, and a time to quit searching, a time to keep, and a time to throw away, a time to tear, and a time to mend, a time to be quiet, and a time to speak, a time to love, and a time to hate, a time for war, and a time for peace. What do people really get for all their hard work? I've seen the burden God has placed on all of us, yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. How awesome is that? God has made everything beautiful for its own time. It's just a season. See, you're in a season right now. I'm in a season right now, and it's just one season. It's just one chapter of your book of life that has a million chapters in it. So if you're there and you feel yourself being tugged, if you feel yourself being pulled, if you feel God has a calling on your life and he's pulling you in that direction, answer that call, because God does not give us a spirit of fear. He gives us a spirit of truth and righteousness. Just a shout out to Kayla Johnson. I don't know if you're watching this, but if you are, thank you, because you posted something today, and it really struck me in my heart. You posted and said, David did not know how strong Goliath was because he was so focused on God that it didn't matter. That's where I want to be in this life. I want to be at a place that I'm not worried about my enemy. I'm not worried about my situations. I'm not worried about my pain or my strife. I'm not worried about the obstacles or the paths that I'm fixing to walk down or the enemies I'm about to face. It doesn't matter to me because I want to be so focused on God and know that he is the king of kings, and he gives me strength when I'm weak. It's a season. And we'd say this, there's not just a season for your career and your life circumstances and your situations. People have a season in your life as well. I firmly believe that God brings people into our life for a reason. However, that reason does not always stay permanent. He brings people into our life for a reason, but that reason does not always stay permanent. Some people are meant to come in and some people are meant to exit. And I've learned the hard way, the extreme hard way that if God is trying to remove somebody from your life, do not fight it, accept it and move forward because he sees something that you don't see. He sees something in that person that you do not see and the direction that your life is going does not include them. That chapter is over and you're moving on to a new chapter. So have faith, have strength and keep moving on. And if you have questions, look through this Bible, man, it's got everything you need to know. All the answers are right here. It's just a season. My season for my current situation is over and now my season is now, I have a new season. It's time for me to move forward. It's time for me to move forward the message of God and bring it to the entire world. If you feel that calling on your life, answer it. Do not be afraid. Satan, Satan is a liar and he's going to tell you you're afraid. He's going to tell you, you can't do it. You ain't worth it. Who were you? Who were you to be to accept the calling by God? Who were you? You ain't nothing. You're worthless. Look at where you've been. Look at what you've done with your life. Who are you to speak about God to anybody? I'll tell you who, somebody who's been pulled from that darkness by God himself and brought into the light. That is who can reach people. People who know that you've experienced things that they have, you've experienced the worst of the worst and you made it through. God helps you through the darkest of times and now you get to spread that message. Keep moving forward. Do not let Satan give you that spirit of fear and just like David, don't worry about the strengths of what's to come. Stay focused on God because he is stronger than anything and this book right here, it tells me, it tells me that if God is for me, who can be against me? Let no weapon formed against me shall prosper. So if that is where you're at, answer that calling and keep moving forward. If you're in a tough season, if you're in a bad season, if you're in a season of drought, this too shall pass. This too shall pass and there's a purpose for this season and God will make everything beautiful for its own time. So whatever season you have found yourself in today, God is going to make it beautiful in his own time. He does not work on my time. He does not work on your time. He works on his time. He's never early. He's never late. He is always on time. So have patience, stay humble, remain faithful and keep moving forward and answer that calling. Stay strong people. I hope y'all are having a wonderful Monday. It's been one of those for me. Maybe this can help. I hope it helps. I hope it reaches somebody. Y'all stay frosty mis amigos and never ever forget Jesus loves you.
