Faithbase

Good morning, everybody. My name is Zach Alexander. I'm a United States Marine Corps combat veteran, a current seminary student at Liberty University, and I am extremely excited to be a part of Faith Base and to go along this journey of spiritual growth with you. I greatly appreciate you tuning in, and I'm super excited about what we have coming up. Just a little bit about what I'll be covering, I'll be doing some Bible studies. It is my passion and my desire to not only read the scripture, but to take an intimate dive so that we're finding the true intended meaning of scripture. I believe that we as Christians, we tend to get complacent when it comes to God's word, and we go upon our feelings and our emotions rather than researching, really diving into what's called a harmoneutical approach to scripture, looking at the literary and the historical context, going back to the original translations of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek to find the true intended of scripture, the true meaning, really understand what God is saying so that we can apply it the right way to our lives. I'll be doing some daily devotionals, just to help us move through the day, get some encouragement, as well as different videos throughout the day, throughout the week, where I find God is putting something on my heart. I'll be covering things that I've dealt with personally and what I've done to move closer and things that have helped me in my spiritual walk, and ultimately, we're just here to try and get closer to God, grow our relationship with him, get more connected, and to live our lives based upon and rooted on the foundation of his biblical principles. I challenge y'all to not just listen in and tune in to the videos, but in the upcoming software, we will have the opportunity to comment, I'll be posting different questionnaires and different polls to find out not only what you're wanting to learn, but what you're dealing with, what you're struggling with, what scripture do you want to go into, what are you struggling with individually as a Christian, or even just something that me and the rest of our team at Faith-Based Church can pray for you. We're here for you, do not take this journey alone, I'm super excited for this, I look forward to sharing a little bit more about me, who I am, just really quick, I'm a husband, I'm a father, and I'm extremely excited for what Faith-Based is offering, and I cannot wait to start this journey with you.
