Hello again, Saints and Defenders of the Faith. I'm stuck on finding, not finding because I can find it, but I'm stuck on my excitement about scientific discoveries that proves the Bible is the Word of God or the Bible is unique and it stands above anything else. One thing that I was recently reading was about long ago how at times in hospitals women who were pregnant would be examined if they died, not just pregnant, but be examined and if they died, they were dying in large rates in a specific hospital. I forgot what year this was when this was happening. I believe it was in, yes, 1845 when this was happening, when a particular young doctor in Vienna, he was alarmed at this alarming rate about how many or the high percentage of women who were dying in hospitals and they couldn't discover why that they were dying in hospitals. What doctors would do, they would examine one individual that has disease and then they would go without washing their hands, without cleaning themselves up and go to examine the other, another individual that was in the hospital and that may be sick or whatever. They discovered later that they needed to wash their hands and when they washed their hands and washed themselves up and they put on clean clothes before examining the next patient, the death rates stopped increasing. That is interesting. Check out what the Bible says, what God said a long time ago to his people in relation to disease. This is what the word, this is what was done. Look at what God says in relation to disease. It says, and when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes and bathe his body under running water. At that time, they would, when they figured it out, they started bathing their hands in waters and bowls, but no, God says, bathe your hand under running water, then you shall be clean. Again, until recent years, doctors washed their hands, like I just mentioned, in bowls, leaving invisible germs in these bowls that cause other patients to be sick. Now, God's word again said this a long time ago before we had the microscopes, before we can see the germs, before we understood what germs were, all of that kind of thing, God said it a long time ago before we knew anything about germs and diseases the way we know today. This is another reason, brothers and sisters, that you and I can stand on the word of God because it is the word of God. And remember, our job is to interpret it correctly. When we interpret the word of God correctly, then brothers and sisters, we can apply it to our life. And when we apply it to our life, we will have a much better life than when we do our own thing, our own way, by our own understanding, without acknowledging God. So brothers and sisters, stand firm in the faith, stand firm in God's word, and continue to defend the faith with yourself and with others. So be safe, and I'll see you next time.
