Hey, how are you? My name is Eli, Christian Counselor, and I wanted to share with you just a quick word of encouragement. Have you ever felt over the past that there's parts of you that sort of just die off or you've lost it? And then you probably hold either the resentment of a person or an organization or an experience that you feel like, man, that was some of the best parts of myself I felt like, or it could have been bad parts of yourself that you've lost and you're grateful for. But here's something interesting that there's a lot of people that have a perspective that there's parts of themselves as they experience life and the ups and downs that just won't come back. And here's a question I want to ask you. Could those parts been part of a mold that you weren't even actually called to fit into? That parts that you feel like you had to grieve over that you have lost emotionally, mentally, spiritually, maybe even physically, that you just haven't gone over it. Well, I want to encourage you to stay rooted and stay founded in the one thing that will never be lost, and that's with Jesus Christ. And even with Jesus, there's parts where he even calls us that, hey, there's parts that I'm going to prune. There's parts that I am going to cut out. In fact, Jesus says in John 15, it says here, I am the true grapevine. My father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit. He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so that they will produce even more. There's parts of your lives that are being pruned away. And you may be thinking how that hurts. Let me tell you, there's going to be parts of you that's going to be pruned off, that's going to fall off, that's going to die off, whether you are aware of it or you don't. Either you do it kicking and screaming or willingly. So let me encourage you to be in a position that you are willing to allow some parts of your life to be pruned off. And that's becoming self-aware, which parts are unhealthy and which parts require for you to mature and move on. So I hope that was encouraging for you. Don't lose hope. Yes, you can grieve what you have lost, but trust in the giver of life, Jesus Christ, that he has so much more in store for you. God bless.
